Foil-Faced Glasswool Felt
Up to 200°C
Main applications
foil-faced felt aimed at zero energy loss
Key Features
Aluminum foil radiant barrier
The aluminum film reflects radiant heat — blocking summer heat gain and winter heat loss in both directions
Combined with glasswool conduction control
A foil and glass-fiber composite layer blocks conduction and radiation together, maximising efficiency
Vapour barrier and condensation control
The aluminum foil blocks water vapour — suppressing condensation and preventing moisture degradation of the insulation
Flexible, light and easy to install
Felt form cuts flexibly — fitting tightly to complex shapes and cutting labour
Non-combustible safety
Inorganic glass-fiber core — non-combustible grade, safe in fire

Applications
Pipe insulation
- •External insulation wrapping on hot and chilled water lines
- •Condensation control on HVAC refrigerant lines
Construction & roofing
- •Insulation and vapour control under metal roofs
- •Radiant heat reflection at roof level
Refrigeration & cold storage
- •Pipe insulation finishing in cold stores
- •Insulation for refrigerators and display cases
Industrial plant
- •Insulation finishing on industrial ducts and chambers
- •Finishing material for small insulation jobs
Notes
- ※Install with the foil face outward (toward the heat source) to maximise the reflective effect.
- ※Above 200°C the foil can delaminate — use aluminum casing on hot pipework instead.
