Cerakwool Blanket 1260°C
Up to 1260°C
Main applications
- 128 kg/m³ high density
- inorganic non-combustible (Class A1)
- the standard lining and back-lining material for kilns
- firing furnaces and heat-treatment furnaces
Key Features
The 1260°C global standard
The most widely used grade in high-temperature industrial plant — optimal for continuous service between 1000 and 1100°C
Light and flexible
Fits tightly even on complex shapes, and handles rapid heat-up and cool-down cycles and sharp temperature swings
Excellent thermal efficiency
Low thermal conductivity maximises energy savings — directly reducing fuel and electricity cost
Strong thermal shock resistance
No cracking or delamination under rapid temperature change — assuring long-term stable operation
Wide range of sizes, easy site work
A broad choice of thickness and density, freely cut and formed on site — far faster to install than fire brick

Incineration & environmental plant
- •Waste incinerator insulation
- •Linings for large industrial combustion furnaces
Notes
- ※Where continuous service exceeds 1100°C, or in hydrogen and highly alkaline atmospheres, we recommend the 1430°C HTZ grade.
- ※Where surface erosion resistance or hardening is required, use a rigidizer alongside — we will advise the optimal application rate.
