Cerakwool Blanket 1430°C (HTZ)
Up to 1430°C
Main applications
- a ceramic blanket for extreme-temperature furnaces in hydrogen and oxidising atmospheres
- reformer walls and refinery crackers
Key Features
1430°C classification (HTZ)
High-purity fiber with zirconia addition — the most dependable blanket for extreme service between 1100 and 1260°C
Zirconia-reinforced creep resistance
Minimal deformation or shrinkage under prolonged heat — markedly better creep and chemical resistance than standard grades
Light and flexible even at extreme heat
The blanket structure holds at extreme temperature, allowing precise installation on complex shapes and curves
Outstanding thermal shock resistance
No cracking or distortion through repeated rapid heating and cooling — long-term stability in the harshest duty
Fabricated to site requirements
Freely cut and formed — applicable across the whole of a hot installation, maximising efficiency versus fire brick

Applications
Steel & metal extreme-temperature furnaces
- •Critical linings in hot reheating and melting furnaces
- •High-temperature insulation on continuous casting plant
Petrochemical & energy extremes
- •The hottest sections of ethylene crackers
- •Extreme-temperature reformer wall linings
Ceramic & glass furnaces
- •Internal linings for kilns above 1200°C
- •Extreme-temperature insulation on specialty glass melters
Semiconductor & specialty industry
- •Insulation for diffusion and heat-treatment furnaces
- •Rare-metal high-temperature processing equipment
Notes
- ※The 1430°C HTZ grade uses zirconia content to raise chemical and creep resistance — reserved for extreme conditions the 1260°C grade cannot meet.
- ※It costs more than the standard 1260°C product, so confirm your design peak temperature and atmosphere composition before selecting the grade — technical consultation provided.
