Ceramic Fabric / Ceramic Cloth
Up to 1200°C
Main applications
ceramic fabric and cloth for high-temperature protective jackets
Key Features
High-temperature woven material
Woven from ceramic fiber filament — retaining strength and form above 1000°C
Easy to sew and fabricate
In fabric form it cuts and sews freely — for custom high-temperature jackets on pipes, valves and ducts
Fire and heat protection
Protective jacket material against fire and molten splash — blocking welding sparks and shielding hot work
Absorbs movement
The flexibility inherent in woven fabric means it fits tightly without tearing under thermal expansion and vibration
Dielectric option
High-purity alumina and silica composition — also usable for high-temperature electrical insulation
