Glass Tape / Yarn Cloth Tape
Up to 300°C
Main applications
glass tape that completes an insulation installation
Key Features
Glass-fiber reinforced tensile strength
A glass-fiber based tape with far better tensile strength than vinyl tape — ideal for pipe wrapping
Heat resistant
An inorganic glass-fiber material suitable for wrapping hot pipe finishes
Wraps and secures pipe insulation
Secures glasswool and mineral wool wrapping — holding the insulation in shape and preventing fiber release
Cut on site
Cut with scissors or a knife and used immediately, to any pipe size
Yarn cloth tape option
Yarn cloth tape (glass yarn reinforced) has even higher tensile strength — excellent for temporary securing during pipe finishing

Applications
Pipe insulation wrapping
- •Securing glasswool pipe insulation wrapping
- •Temporary securing tape for insulation
Hot pipe finishing
- •Wrapping insulation finishes on hot pipework
- •Securing external insulation finishes
Duct & chamber insulation
- •Wrapping external duct insulation finishes
- •Temporary securing of chamber insulation
Repair work
- •Temporary wrapping repairs on damaged insulation
- •Repairing insulation joint finishes
Notes
- ※Self-adhesive vs non-adhesive (wrapping): the self-adhesive version seals airtight, the non-adhesive version is more economical.
- ※Yarn cloth tape is far stronger in tension than plain glass tape — recommended for long pipe runs.
