Glass Cloth Mesh
Main applications
glass cloth mesh that completes rendering and waterproofing
Key Features
Glass-fiber grid reinforcement
An E-glass fiber grid mesh — the global construction standard for crack-prevention reinforcement in rendering and waterproofing
Essential against render cracking
Embedded in gypsum, cement or mortar render — preventing drying shrinkage cracks and greatly increasing surface strength
Reinforcement for waterproofing layers
Embedded in liquid waterproofing membranes — reinforcing tensile strength and preventing cracking and lifting
Easy to cut on site
Supplied in rolls — cut with scissors, easily applied around curves and corners
Alkali-resistant (AR glass) option
AR glass coated mesh — no fiber degradation in the alkaline environment of cement

| Width | 50–150 cm (roll supply) |
| Weight per unit | 60–160 g/m² (by duty) |
| Supply form | Per roll |
| Main applications | Crack-prevention render reinforcement, waterproofing reinforcement, EIFS reinforcement |
Applications
Render reinforcement
- •Crack-prevention reinforcement in cement and gypsum render
- •Render reinforcement in dry-construction external walls
Waterproofing reinforcement
- •Tensile reinforcement mesh in waterproofing membranes
- •Waterproofing reinforcement on roofs and basements
EIFS reinforcement
- •Surface reinforcement mesh in external insulation finish systems
- •Render reinforcement on insulated external walls
Insulation finishing
- •Render reinforcement over external insulation finishes
- •Reinforcement in self-levelling mortar
Notes
- ※AR-glass (alkali-resistant) coated mesh is essential in cement render — plain E-glass degrades in alkali.
- ※Higher weight per unit gives better reinforcement — specify a heavier mesh where cracking risk is high.
